Send email to customers with upcoming orders/transports

Daily update

You can automatically send your customers an email with the upcoming transports for the current day. This email will go out between 2 and 5 in the morning.

The email will be send in the language of the customer.

The email contains the following information:

  • Transport number

  • Customer reference

  • (Un)Load reference

  • (Un)Load location

  • Seal number

  • Container number

  • ETA

  • Appointment

  • Optionally a link to follow the transport's progress live

Configuration

Company settings

Configure whether you want to send this email automatically to your clients.

This configuration is on the company level. You either choose to send an email to all of your clients or to none of them.

Set the option "Auto send customer update emails" to true.

Customer settings

You can allow each customer separately to track their orders live via the customer updates channel.

If you allow this for a customer, then the daily email will contain a link that the customer can use to follow the progress of his transports.

To allow this for a customer specify this in the customer details.

Set the option "Include live tracking link in customer updates" to true.

If you wish to not send any email with updates about transports to a specific customer, then you can disable the updates for this customer on the customer details level.
