Create and update trucks

Create trucks, maintain truck details, availability, supplier, driver and trailer links, documents, dates, and connected resources.

Use trucks to keep truck master data ready for planning. You can create a truck, update its details, set availability, link a Driver and Trailer, and maintain dates and documents.

Open directly: Trucks.

Open trucks

Select Overview, then select Trucks. The Trucks overview is where you search trucks, check truck status, and open or add truck records.

You need access to the Trucks overview to create or update trucks.

Create a truck

Select Add on the trucks overview to open New truck.

New truck form with truck name, license plate, supplier, and date fields

Enter the required truck identity fields: Truck name, License plate, and Supplier. A supplier is required when you create a truck.

You can also complete Chassis number, Emission standard, Number of axles, and Adr kit complete when these details are known.

Set availability and dates

Use Available to control whether the truck can be used in planning. If a truck is inactive, unavailable, or has date issues, it may not appear as usable for planning.

Connect a driver or trailer

Use the Driver and Trailer columns on the trucks overview to see existing links. Driver and trailer links depend on drivers and trailers already existing in the system.
