Trucking schedule
When orders and waypoints are assigned to a truck you can see the order of waypoints in the trucking schedule.
This page can be found on https://app.trans-it.be/planning/trucks/blocks .
By clicking on the edit button of a particular truck you can start moving orders & waypoints around in order to create the planning you wish to have.
Notice that you can only move orders and waypoints within the days you select on the top right in the date range.
Move full order
By default you will get the option to move an order as a whole.
This is displayed by the arrows under the order.
When clicking the single arrow (here in grey) you move an order within the sequence of order for a single day.
To move an order to the previous or next day use the double arrows under the order.
⚠️⚠️⚠️ Beware that moving an order to another day as a whole will change the planned date of the load/unload waypoint as well.
Indeed, you are telling the system to move the order and all appointments on every waypoint to the other day, as a whole.
Move waypoints
You can also move a single waypoint or groups of waypoints by itself.
A typical example of this is a situation where we have to LOAD tomorrow but we already PICK UP today.
Suppose we want to move the PICKUP at "Haven Gent" to the previous day.
Then you can just hover with your mouse on the waypoint you wish to move.
This will display an arrow in order to move the waypoint.
This will result in the PICKUP moving to the previous day.
Now you, your team, and your driver know that the PICKUP is supposed to happen today.
Save your schedule
Hit the save button in front of the schedule to save your changes.
Transport Planning
You can take similar action directly when you are planning in your transport planning.
After assigning one or more trucks, you will have the option to move the orders within the schedule of this truck.
⚠️⚠️⚠️ Again, Beware that moving an order to another day as a whole will change the planned date of the load/unload waypoint as well.
Truck Planning
When you are using the Truck Planning you wil not have an option to change the truck schedule by default.
Orders will be assigned in the schedule of a truck in by using the planned time for the load/unload that you gave to the load/unload waypoint of the order.
⚠️⚠️⚠️ Important to know.
Say you have to LOAD tomorrow but you want to PICKUP today.
Then the ideal way is to specify this via the trucking schedule as explained above.
If you prefer to plan the whole order for today via the Truck Planning then the order will move to today but the planned date for your load/unload waypoint will not change. We will not change the appointment date for you order unless you specifically instruct the application to do so via the trucking schedule.
